You mentioned you had DVD-RW. That should allow you to record over any matches you don't want to keep.

The catch is that in order to be read by a computer, your DVD may need to be finalized, which will lock-in all existing content and prevent you from recording any additional video. At least that's how my DVD player works. So you've got as many chances as you want to get it right, but there's no going back once you do.

(also for every 36+ videos you post on youtube you'll need a new DVD)
