you actually don't need it for parallax; you can just click on a layer in the layers toolbar and change its X/Y coefficients to something less than 1

yeah you can do that method, but if you want to make a parallax without having to create a large BG)


I tend to only use the layer for scrolling if its 1 specific object(like a pillar or some clouds that is non-tiling)

anyway I posted an example of using old background system boxes + layer object scroll

Ctrl + K

it should show you the layers toolbar(if it's not there)

then click the layer in the layer toolbar. it will show the properties

oh I almost forgot, go to edit --> properties( or Ctrl + D) to show the property window. I always had it on by default. if it still doesn't show, you may need to go to window --> cascade mode to see it. then you can change back.

did you just recently get MMF?

It works now thx. I have been using MMF but then I started to work on GM for a year or 2 then I went back to MMF2.
