Wario's Gold Rush, My Minigame Competition #37 Entry

Alright, I finished my entry. The idea is to collect as many coins as possible without getting hit by the guards. You can use your Gold Rush move to knock them out of the way if you are in a tight spot.

EDIT: Final update. Now with a better movement engine and the option of turning the beginning cutscene off. Also, the Boo guards were slowed down and the length of the name on the high score screen was limited to 15 characters. Enjoy!

Controls:

Arrow Keys = Move Around
Spacebar = Activate Rush Mode
Enter = Confirm Menu Selection
Escape = Exit

I have played this mini game, I like it, I got 229 points; but when I submit my score with my full name, my surname Clerigues is mixed with my score.

Please allow diagonal movement, since it's too easy to get stuck to walls and possibly get screwed over. Boo is quite unfair and I don't like non-skipable cutscenes. Other than that, it's fun a game. Kudos.

Btw I managed to get 340 points on my third try.

@Alba Garca Clerigues: Sorry, but you really shouldn't enter your full name. It's LOOONG. It's really supposed to only handle the firstname of whoever is playing.

@Ultramario: I meant to add a skip cutscene feature, but didn't have the time, since the deadline is tomorrow. Boo is meant to be unfair, but I do believe that he is far too fast. I'll slow him down a bit. As for diagonal movement, it is there, and I tried to make it work better, but if you are going diagonal and run into the wall, your hspeed and vspeed both drop to 0. I am currently trying to figure out a way around that. I'll try to get one last update in by tonight, with bugfixes and these changes.

Btw nice scores. I barely got over 300 myself.

I don't know how. Sorry. I asked that same question once. If you're referring to the others that replied, they're just telling me. There's no online database or anything for high scores. I'm not sure it's even possible.
