How about a bike to get around a bit better?

Dying your hair, which will last a few weeks would be cool in my book.

The ability to get in a fight with other animals. Fist fight or like yell..

Though I am sure that will never happen.

So maybe an energy meter, and if you run out, you will pass out, either on the floor of your house, or where ever you where outside. And you will have barely any energy by the next day.

I would kinda find that to make it slightly more fun..

-The ability to lay out multiple patterns for wallpaper in addition to being able to tile just one. It's pretty clear most of the Wallpaper you can buy from Nook isn't just a single repeated pattern. Also, more space for patterns, or at least have some of the preset patterns be templates instead.

-As suggested before, inventory space for tools.

-The ability to AIM the slingshot instead of just firing straight up (though they might even be removed since the game doesn't have the advantage of two screens).

-Have the game live up to the subtitle. I'd even like objects like the lunar rover to function outside as transportation, though that might just be something I'd like personally.

How about animal neighbors that actually CARE about the status of their town? Seriously, I shouldn't be the only person in a whole 10-person town that actually cares about pulling weeds. In that sense of being active in cleaning up, they should also be able to dig up things(if they have a shovel handy) like you can. Then it'll give you an incentive in getting up earlier and "beating" them to the loot.

I do think that would be cool to be able choose what animal you are(including humans), also:

-Designing your character when the game starts.
-Choosing your face, instead of having to look up an faq to be able to choose your eyes!
-I don't know how many fish are in WW, but there need to be tons of fish and bugs to catch. I'm talking hundreds!!!!
-You should be able to have a pet.
-Making your own store
-Nook's final upgrade would be a mall
-Visiting your mom
-SWIMMING!!
-You don't have to pay extra money to get to the island
-Being able to drive a car
-Being able to fly and ride in a plane/helicopter
-Any other human in the town can be controlled by the game(They act like villagers, they don't do anything big)
-Villagers include humans
-If the idea above the idea above this one is true, then you can edit your personality for the different things of text, and be able to make your own catch phrase.
-Vacations!!!! DUDE!!!!

-The ability to fight

-Mother Merchandise

-The ability to cook food and get recipes

-The ability to grow non-tree crops

-Animal friends with their own backstories instead of being cookie-cutter NPCs

May I suggest Rune Factory: A fantasy Harvest Moon?

Seriously, half the suggestions have been essentially: "Make this Harvest Moon".

Also, I'd like to see more themed clothes (e.g. Mario themed, Mother themed, etc.).
