Plitemon!, 4 sprite comp

Don't mind the title. It's a lemmy's land thing.

Anyway, I have a wip of my Plitemon. It's got 6 right now, in male and female forms.

Evolutions so far:

Buzzy to P. Buzzy in day
Buzzy to S. Buzzy in night
S. Buzzy or P. Buzzy to S. P. Buzzy.

Bob-omb to ...Nothing right now.

chomplet to Chain Chomp.

Let's get some C+C guys!

I think it makes more sense for the chomp to evolve into the bombomb. Unless you make the chomp much bigger.

Well, why would it go from chomp, to bob omb, to Chain chomp. That makes less sense, and fire chomps and bob ombs are roughly the same size anyway.

Bob-Omb> Bulk-Omb

I like Bomb-Ombs back sprite, it looks awsome!

I find it strange that all the females are different colors than the males except the chompette, who simply doesn't have spikes on its brace.

What? Should I make the female chomplet red and give it spikes?

Well, considering the previous and next evolution for it are like that, yes you should.

Maybe the females should have a shorter string/fuss (like the horn differences etc.) and the bomb-omb be pinker (like the pink one in Paper mario)

I think the outlines, especially on the circle-y guys, needs to be smoothed out a lot.
They look pretty good, but the outline is really taking them down a notch.

What do you remommend?

More female and male differences, not just colors.

Instead of just changing the colors, change the sprites. For example, female Spike Buzzy can have a smaller spike. Female Bob-Omb, a longer fuse. Female Chomp, smaller teeth.
