Leifur., for a game or a comic or something idkay

Anyway, this little guy is called Leifur, and his shadow does not have a name yet. These are two of the main characters for a possible game or webcomic of sorts that I wanna make. There's not much for plot yet, but hopefully there will be more soon. :]

Whatcha think? Also, if anyone has any ideas for a name for the shadow, those are welcome. Simpler is better! (The shadow's name is Einar, thanks to Shroomguy!)

Awesome as usal, but the arms look a little long IMO. I remeber playing a demo of a game where the main character's shadow could attack. Awesome game, but I can't find it. Anyways great work.

Hmmm....this guys from Iceland eh? The shadow shall be....Einar....meaning great warrior.

Well, you could prolly order it somewhere on the internet. It's pretty old now, so I'm really not sure if it would still be around at any stores.

Nice and cute, and the lightness of it makes it all the more appealing.

Also, if you want name suggestions, a japanese sounding one would be Kage-chan (stereotypical yes, but fitting), or if you want something cute and simple, Shadee (pronounced Shad-'e').

Very cute, and good colouring, but the body proportions are distinctly off. I'd redline for you, but at the moment all my CG supplies (e.g. tablet) are in boxes for college. Let me see if I can talk y'through it.

Considering where his waist (the thinnest part of his abdomen) appears to be, the elbow (middle of the arm) seems to be misplaced. The waist and the elbow are usually more or less on the same level, and here his arms seem to be abnormally long. Also, teh legs seem short in comparison to the body and the (lengthy) arms. All and all, there's just something off about the whole lower body. Oh, and his left leg (our right) seems a little tweaked, I dunno.

That aside, I really like the style. It's really cute, and good job at sticking that hand in (even though it's only a little bit). Keep practicing hands; maybe next time we can see even a little bit more of them, yeah?

Thanks! I really wasn't going for correct body proportions, though. It's just supposed to be sort of a cute, silly style, and I actually have some other sketches of him with hands! bahaha, I'll have to post those in the sketch forum.
