For some reason, for the past 3 weeks-1 month I couldn't access the forums on my computer or my Wii. It said I am not permitted to use this board. I tried going to the help files, reading the rules, everything, and I could not access MFGG. Recently I downloaded a program that hides my IP and now I can access the forums. What the heck?
So did my IP get banned? It doesn't seem like I was hacked, but it says the last time I was accessed was July 22. I forget if I came on that day, because my memory is wierd, being only 11.
But if I was hacked and you guys don't believe me, this will also be a farewell for now topic. If this can't be fixed, then bye. sad.gif

Your IP must have been in the range of an IP that is banned. It happens quite a bit.

@orange452:
Well, I was actually 10 when I joined, and no one noticed due to my maturity. XD And I turn 12 in 11 days. And last time I checked you had to be 11. Did they raise it again?

@Sonic_Penguin15:
Really? I never heard of that ever happening.

My old IP is probably in my older posts. I know I made one in the NCFC topic. If that one can be unbanned without unbanning whoever is banned, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Take it up with the admins.
They might be able to help.

Try resetting your ip to a new range as well, then it should work. Just leave your router off for an hour or so, and it should reset. Mine does.

Sounds like the same thing that happened to Sonic_Penguin the other day - which I'm pretty sure was a case of the IP being in a blocked range (like other people already said).

An admin (i.e., Black Squirrel) should be able to fix it if you ask him.

If you're still 11, then you aren't really allowed in the forums.
Not that I have anything against you; IMO you should be allowed to stay.

Age limit rule doesn't effect members that registered before it was set up.

i'm pretty sure it does.

I can't seem to find any topics about the age limit to support this, but I'm pretty sure you're dead wrong.

It would be incredibly unfair to ban someone who was an accepted member of the community before, just because of a changed rule that came about during their stay.

If people acted like idiots because they weren't mature enough to be using a forum yet, they'd probably be banned, but that's not because of the age rule, but because of the stupidity rule.

Anyway, I think the age limit isn't really enforced anymore, at least hardly at all.

That's because she is wrong. The age restrictment rule did not apply to members who joined before it came into effect.

Especially if said underage member was mature and well-behaved.

Yes. People shouldn't be automatically be banned simply because they're underage. They should be banned because of inappropriate behavior and a lack of maturity.

It was recently repealed and no longer applies now.

Hmm... I turned my router off overnight, and it didn't work. I'll just PM B.S. about it.
By the way, since when did this turn into a topic about the age limit ban? laugh3.gif If I need to be banned for those 11 months where I was under 11, then by all means ban me. As long as it isn't an IP ban. wink.gif

There's still a member who had been banned a few years ago for three-four years because of being underage. He's still banned.

And:
