if I have a model, how would I take off part of it that I need using anim8or?

I don't know about Anim8or, but Blender works well.

Change to Object Mode and remove unneeded parts.

none of them work, they all say my models arrent a blender file type...

Its the same as hohoo described it for blender but with different buttons.
I would describe it more for you but anim8or doesnt work right with vista

There is a list of formats it supports. If it has a little picture of a snake, you need also Python.
