My job is worse than your school, stop complaining

I work thirteen hours crouched over on an uncomfortable stool sorting cherries with an hours worth of breaks scattered throughout until my back aches and I can't move my hand.

I sit in a crowded factory with constant very loud noises from a lot of machinery, with no ear protection. I scrape my knuckles against a conveyor belt for three hours at a time.

I do not get days off. No weekends. I get up at four thirty, have to be at work at six in the morning, and then get home at eight.

I work with retarded people (literally) who do not know how to clean themselves. They occasionally have feces on the backs of their legs.

I work with the French, who do not shower. I sit with this smell for thirteen hours.

I make a measly eleven dollars an hour.

I sort cherries. Sometimes, we get truckloads of soft ones. I have to dig through piles on a conveyor belt trying to individually guage the softness of each and every one. If a soft one gets through, I lose my job. If I throw one out that isn't soft enough, I lose my job.

I work with brainwashed polygamists who discuss subjects ranging from retardedly uninteresting to lead-in-my-bloodstream uninteresting.

I have complete hangnail from scraping my knuckles and fingers against a conveyor belt.

I do not know which days I will be working thirteen hours.

There's more but my hand is too stiff to type much longer.


So please don't ****ing complain about your homework.

I understand why you'd be angry and everything.

But did you really feel the need to make a new topic, you could've just kept this in the other topic.

If it's in India or something, then it's really not that bad.
If it's America, then that's illegal.










AND: Why not bring your own ear protection? $11 per hour is good money too

I really don't care about homework. I just do it in school. Problem solved.

Anyways, you're like...what? 18? That pay actually isn't so bad if you think about it.

So are there no other jobs available where you live with either better pay and or better working conditions? I feel sorry for you, man.

Or checking the legality of the working conditions and possibly filing a suit against the employer? But that's Canada so I really have no idea on the laws there

even if it's illegal i don't really care. all i am is tired and sore and pissed that people are whining about easy **** homework in grade 7 when you could be in worse conditions

You should just get used to it. People are 'selfish' and will complain about their lives and such when things could always be worse.

So you plan to stop people from complaining about school, by saying how bad your job is... Feel free to tell me how that's working out for you so far!
Well you do have the right to be aggravated (I've noticed sometimes get pissed off even more then they are when you tell them they're complaining...) with your job, but I don't think that will stop people from posting their opinion about a subject you just don't want to read about or see.
If you think people shouldn't have the right to complain about their life or school (or anything) when there's always atleast 1 person somewhere with a life much worse, then why should you have the right to talk about how terrible your job is?
No matter how hard you try to get them to stop complaining about any topic, there's always going to be that one person there who has atleast one thing bad to say about that topic and if there isn't atleast one person who dares to be different (even if it's just to stand out...), then there's really no discussion at all.
(If you want an example.) Well, if everyone in the world thought that Disaster Movie is going to be the greatest movie of the year, there wouldn't be anything to add to the conversation which hasn't been said before if somebody tried to make a topic about it... Except people would probably get mad about the flood of the same topic just made by several different people.... (I didn't bother seeing disaster movie though, because it looked like it would suck...)

Stop saying "just get another job", people. Geez. You don't know his situation, and to risk losing ANY possibility of having a local job by suing the employer would just be a dumb move anyway.
