Well Chex Quest was a officially released game. Built entirely on the engine of the first doom game but was geared towards the younger crowd. It was released as a promotion in certain boxes of Chex cereal in 1997. And still has a nice fan base. And has a average user ratting on gamespot of 8.8.

The version I posted was a updated version that was Win 32 compatible. It's not a totally faithful update. Because it's not the whole original game. But it's still fully playable.
