How Do You Put Up Pictures For Your Sidepic?, Yeah... I'm stupid.

I don't know how to put up a picture for my sidepic, so some help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you need it uploaded somewhere, or do you have the URL?

Up top it says "My Controls" go there and check your Avatar settings.

You can't upload Avatars.

If you're in need of some space, head over to http://www.geocities.com However, to avoid Geocities' no-hotlinking thing, you'll have to rename the file to [insertnameoffilehere].txt

Also, for future reference, posts asking for help on any subject should be posted in the "help" section of the forum.

Replacing http:// with ftp:// sometimes works, but it's easier to do the rename.

Step by step instructions:

-Click on "my controls" which is up the top
-Scroll down to where it says "edit avatar settings" and click
-The option to upload your own avatar is unavailable, so you will have to enter a URL for your avatar instead. My avatar url is "http://www.geocities.com/danielaa1/Kritmas.txt"

Once you've done that, it should be working.

Don't steal other people's bandwidth (especially Father Kritmas' he gets really pissed)

Ok, sir newbie puff!
To set your title and profile (all that crap) go to "my controls" and find "edit profile" on the sidebar
To set your sig go to edit signature
To set your avatar (side pic) go to "edit avatar setting"
Also to set your personal photo go to the "change personal photo" part.

It is basically all self explanatory!
