Just use common sense! No need to hide from google (although if I could use a similarly accurate service that wasn't building a personal profile of me I would...) just weigh up the credibility of a site- scan downloads, realise a key is not an EXE or BAT file, and check user comments on particular files to weigh up authenticity...
