I've searched high and low for a free video editing program that allows split screen or windowed videos, and I haven't found any. I know how to do this kind of split screen, because I got a plugin for WMM.

But what I want to do is this kind, what is sometimes called windowed.

Does anybody know of a free program that does this? Apart from Wax, which although it can do it, it takes only a few type of AVIs, is prone to crashing, and the videos get jittery.
