That's just got to be one of the craziest thing I have ever seen. He gets a new world record, and he wasn't even trying his hardest. I mean, for the last 10-20 meters he had his arms outstretched celebrating. And he made a freaking world record! I think he could probably get something like a 9.66 if he tried hard enough. What do you think? --------------------

I love how he went crazy after he won, ran over to his mom and whatnot.

Normally I would think that was a bit showy but that was his first medal and he won by sooooo much, this guy is my new fav in the olympics (my old one was Lezak, the guy who swam that amazing 50m comeback in the US 4x2 relay in swimming)

Oh and when does Bolt run his 200, which he is even more of a favorite in?

In all seriousness though, he probably could have broke 9.50 if he really cared about the world record; but from his demeanor, he looked like he was just concerned with winning gold. Crazy speed nevertheless.

You don't sprint your hardest from the start, you go about 90% until you get to the last 200-150 meters of the race. And besides, Jeremy Weriner owns that race anyway.
