Something wrong with the main site submission page

I'm trying to submit a sprite sheet. It is of PNG format.

When I click Submit!, it says

Invalid file type for file koopapkm.png, file must be of one of the following types: ZIP, PNG, GIF.

Your file is of type: image/png


...wtf? It IS a PNG! It says so right there!

Whats going on?

Dunno, just use the Submit It! board.

Other than the first time I used it, my submissions in the Submit it forum are completely ignored by the site staff; they are neither accepted or declined.

But you see we now have new site staff and it's our job to look in that board, too. So just put it there and I'll get around to it eventually.

then again, its only been one day since i posted it. Maybe it will actually be acknowledged this time.

Its extension may be PNG, but is the format?
