Shut up, Apoc... You know that's not true. <_<;

Anyhoo, played through the PlayStation 3 version of the game (as Darth Vader), got up to The Apprentice, then lost a bunch of times. FINALLY defeated him after -- what was it? -- 12 tries, then got beaten up by Algol a lot more times. After I finally defeated him, the PS3 FROZE ON ME before it even saved.

I had gotten so annoyed (since my PS3 has a tendency to freeze at the WORST TIMES) that I vented my rage (a bit), then went back through Arcade as Vader. Plowed right through EVERYONE that time, not even losing a SINGLE BATTLE (not even against the Apprentice). >:D

Gimmicky? Useful?

Looks like I have to convince one of my friends with a 360 or PS3 to get this.

I've made the following characters in Soul Calibur IV:

• Mario
• Rick Astley
• Princess Peach
• Solid Snake
• Ike

Even though we still can't get past floor 11 :V

It's just fun to have a game that I can't beat because it'll always be there to give me a challenge <3

Although Zash is 348237x better than me.. :(

Yoda - Super cheap, Immune to all high-hits, and most mid-hits. Can't be grabbed, ect.

The Apprentice - His attacks in general are either too easy to pull off and/or do uber amounts of damage.

Vader - (from what I've heard) Actually feels balanced compared to Yoda and Apprentice. Not SUPER cheap. but not that great of a character either,

like a slower mitsirugi but with Force powers too.

I still consider them kinda gimmicky. :V

The fact that they cut alot of classes out in character creation was a real bummer for me at first.. but at least now I'm learning Cervantes alot better.

I don't mind the cut character classes, since now we can use many more classes, even if they are just rehashes of other characters. It'd be nice if in Soul Calibur V you'll be able to select from all of the character styles, as well as pre-made classes too.

I'm hopin' that in a couple of months we'll see classes return in downloadable content form.

plus I'd like to see those Manga character's weapons be available in Character creation.

Yes, me too. I'd love to use the baseball bat so I can make Bad Girl from No More Heroes.
