What I want to do is convert a sprite to one color. Why? I want to have a "Pokemon evolution" sprite. This will be for a game I'm making, but before I start filling out MORE THAN 200 SPRITES, ( ohmy.gif ) I wanted to know if there is an easier way to do that (a special program, for example). Specifically, I want to make, for example, a Caterpie, a complete white silhouette, and then a pink silhouette facing the other direction. Also: is there also an easier way to load all the different Pokemon into the game (Game maker 7, by the way) instead of "copy-paste-copy-paste"? Just wondering.

Example: specifically at 00:25
I want something somewhat to that effect. Exept the engine I'm using doesn't do exactly that...

And if there is no "easy" way...oh well.

Open the sprite editor of the sprite that you want to use for the evolution. Copy-paste until you have about 20 images, and then, go to the Animation tab, and click Fade to a colour. Set the number to (Default), and then, click Okay or something that confirms. You then choose the colour that you want the sprite to fade to(Sometimes pure white messes up).
