Drawing Competition #87, Back to School

I prefer Soiy but most people say Soy because it's less of a hassle :P
It's kinda like how I prefer "lawl" over "lol which seems like a hassle to other people. Some don't even know what "lawl" means :P

You could've gotten rid of the image in the quote you know. Saves more space.

Oh crap, Ashura entered this. I think any chances of 1st for me just dropped radically. Oh well though, that ain't gonna stop me, already devoted an hour and a half to my drawing, so I continue! I'll have an update soon.

I might end up in top five if I do some decent work.... let's see...

on the other hand, i'd only end up in the top 5 if there's 4 or less other entries.

At this point, same here. <:) Even if I don't get there, it just tells me I need to improve, plus I get an awesome hard worked on drawing I get to keep. Double points for the win!

EDIT: Besides, it's what you get for your first time entering a comp, and I haven't drawn all summer, so I don't expect to go very far anyways. I just love drawing.

Ooh, update time! With some colors!

Took me awhile to choose colors for the football uniforms. That and a changed Luigi face mask, darkened lines, and all the other colors and you have an update!

Sure. I colored mine, so why not yours? You may also want to darken those lines too; it's a bit hard to pick up at certain spots.

If it's a large drawing you should to amp the quality; Mine's too small, and the lines would merge if I went sharpie with it.

turned out better than i expected

first time i spent more than 15 minutes on a drawing (first time coloring one too).

yes i did forget to erase the stray pencil lines.

I was wondering that for mine too, just a football field. (I've been getting ignored today, so I'm used to it. :P)

It would add more depth to your drawing. Try out a light sketch first, and if it works go from there.
