Hm... I'm nor really excited about the topic, but I would still like to enter this competition. But it seemes like just getting into the Top 5 will be difficult.

I don't see why members like El Sacrifico are discouraged from entering because of my entry. My entry is not that great; it has a big flaw in it (it's a little less visible than before after I edited it, but it's still there somewhat).

You guys can draw better than me, thus you shouldn't even be afraid of what I entered. :[

Yeah, but people will still vote for it for silly reasons. I see the blatant flaws, but artistically-challenged people won't. These votes are swayed by petty things, like having SUPAR KAWAII BIG EYES or NIEC BEWBZ; that's why a lot of people don't like participating anymore. It's hardly a fair judge of what art piece is the best.

Why do people ignore me when I put up a fairly good Loophole statement.

It says each artist may only enter one entry. In other words, if you, Black Boo, enter it. That means your brother doesn't get the badge. If your brother enters, then you don't get the badge. However, if both you AND your brother enter and both post the picture you were working on, that means you both get disqualified.

It says artist. Not artists.

Now, aside from my rant, I'd like to show my colored entry.

Thats not why I liked it. I am not artistically challenged either. I could care less about big eyes and cuteness. I thought it was drawn pretty well, with some nice shading in some areas. There was a few flaws I seen, but I could definatly not do better. But I will still join in the comp.

Most people are probably going to vote for you since they think your an amazing drawer and blinded the way she looks, but can't see the visible flaws.

Right now, about half the entries are pencil drawings colored with colored pencils. Personally, this gives off the illusion that Ashura would win because Ashura put more effort into his picture (aka, digital enhancement). There are other people going to join the competition so don't count your chicks before they hatch.

I said a lot of people would vote for those reasons, not everyone. No need to justify yourself when I wasn't directly attacking you.

I am not necessarily discouraged... more like... challenged.

But like I said, the topic is not very interesting to me... but if I do have time I will consider entering.

And it's not just your one drawing, notice that I said getting into the Top 5 will be difficult.

And I don't really think i am what you would call Artisitically Un-Inclined.

Well guys, thought I'd show what I'm entering.
Remember guys, many good artists never think their work is good. I think my entry is not my best at all, but I'm still happy that I had a good idea.

That's definately true. But that's because we always want to improve so we have to look at our work in a negative fashion.
Wario's text should be "Why do I have to wear this stupid dress?!?!" or something to add more emotion. a single ? is just a question. More "?"s than "!"s shows more embarassment/confusion. More !s than ?s will show anger/excitement.

I should be starting mine tommorrow.

It really sucks not having a working scanner. Taking pictures of my drawings just doesn't cut it. This thing looks so much better in front of you. Whatever though. I may do some editing, possibly some coloring.
