Here are the Mario sprites. I'mma work on the BG and stuff after (I'm showcasing multiple forms here because if I finish this hoax, I'll expand these into a sheet). Also, I know it's kinda stocky (Along with the huge "M" on the cap), but IMO it gives it a certain charm.

Metal Mario looks like stone, or just a gray Mario. You need to actually use a metalic palette.
