it annoys me

Pirates.

Ninjas kill, and they do it with out being seen.

Pirates kill, rape, steal, the works. And they do it while screaming, yelling, and making as much noise as possible.

You only see what you want to see, on the bandwagon, etc. etc.

Wow; I didn't think you guys would actually get in an argument about this.

This is MFGG for goodness sakes.
Why did you not expect an argument to arise from this topic?

Oh by the way, I've read that the whole "stealthy" dressed in black ninja deal is all a Hollywood concoction or something. If anything, a ninja would more likely be dressed like commonfolk in order to better blend in with their surroundings during espionage missions. They would probably look more like samurai (think Kenshin) or a ronin when they're out and about.

The bit about their honor is pretty much true, but everything else is just showbiz.

Ninjas did wear black outfits when assassinating, but only if they had to sneak around a village or area at night. Otherwise, yes they would just wear commoner folk clothes. It really depends on their environment.

Pirates, You don't see a "Talk like a Ninja Day" do you? And Ninjas have stealth and usually attack first, which is why they're so deadly. Pirates don't have to sneak around to kill.
But this is a really stupid argument, considering that both pirates and ninjas would most likely team up and kick everyone's ass.

Pirates aren't much better when it comes to historical accuracy but at least they're slightly accurate.
