I'd imagine them with miner helmets with the little lights.

Yus, Love the helmets,
they group have to hang in a building
that looks a bit richy looking.
Oh and they have to mimic Wario's
charge somewhere during their apperance.

Maybe they can have some kind of "secret" handshake that mimics Wario's victory pose from Wario Land 4.

When they shoulder-bash in, one should stumble, and then the others trip over him, so they all end up in a pile on the floor in front of Wario.

K, heres an idea involving that Mecha Bowser thing.

Alright, as you may know, in the game Yoshi's Story there were 4 castles (these made up the final world, you only play through one per play through). What if on Yoshi's Island, you go through those as the last level, I mean, they werel ike a giant mecha factory type deal.


Also, my second idea for that. Have the Koopa bros. in charge of it. You fight one at a time through the castle in a simple miniboss battle (after you beat one, he says he's telling Red and runs off.) Once you get to the end, you meet up with Red and the other who gloat and what not, then hop away. Afterwords, the Bowser bot falls onto the field.

Not sure how that fight would go but after you beat it, it explodes, but thats not all.

Now you have the koopa bros to deal with. THey will do basic attacks like shell slides and whatnot. All you have to do is jump on their heads to makes them dizzy. Once all are dizzy, they will hop to one sideo f the room and charge their special spin move. While charging, and using it, they are invinsible. You have to avoid it to hurt them, heres how:

Mario- Wall kick over it before they hit you.
Luigi- High jump.
Wario- Dash (note that this won't stun them, but it puts you past them)
Waluigi- Slip in a hole on the floor.

After they pass you, they slam into the wall and take one point of damage.


So yeah, it's a 2 part fight, which seems fitting for a battle so late in the game.

yeah, but now I'm gonna have to go playthrough mecha castle again to get a good idea of what this'll be like, was that the mechanic castle with the super annoying crushers of doom.

I have a few more general ideas:

- I don't know if this idea would get much support, but somewhere in the final world, there could be a seven-floor tower in which you fight all seven Koopalings (and maybe Bowser Jr.?). Each Koopaling would get his/her own room, and different boss fight styles. A Golden Mushroom would reward you in the end.

- If there's going to be text dialogue (ala the Mario RPGs), the Mario and Wario Bros. can be silent protagonists (meaning they don't talk with text boxes, only with voice clips, like in M&L).

- The Toad Gang could be revealed to have a very embarrassing or nerdy real name, like Sheldon or something along those lines, at some point when you meet up with him.

- Bandits as enemies. They can steal some of your coins, and even carry Golden Mushrooms if they want.

- In the final level, a room with an exact replica of 1-4 of SMB. A Shy Guy or other generic enemy with a Bowser mask would replace the real one at the end.

Count the following as my input for the meetinf this Saturday since i have to work.


- We already have a ton of bosses as is. If anyone is willing to make them then hey, I'm all for it. ALso, of course Bowser jr. I don't care if people don't like him, he's still a koopa kid. That would be like metaly removing Luigi cuz you don't like him.

- We've already decided on that.

- Sure why not. I can't remember if we decided on this but isn't his biker name Spade (based on his spade shaped circles on his cap in the design.

- Sounds cool

- 1-4 is already going to be a theatre level. If anything, maybe one of the castles from SMW?

I had an idea to unlock characters

We can have in some levels or in all levels a TIME ATTACK system to get badges and unlock characters, you unlock a character when you reach a certain amount of badges.

Example: Yoshi can be unlocked by getting 15 badges.

If this idea is good, I can make the badges.

Actually, up till now we've just planned to base it around how many gold shrooms you have. I kinda like the idea of a challenge to unlock some (maybe 2 of them), but I'm not really into the time attack thing. Maybe if this was a sonic game or something, but it just doesn't feel as fitting for a Mario game.


Maybe instead it could be based off of finding something after you beat the game for the first time. For example, a Yoshi egg could appear somewhere in the game, you find it, you get yoshi. Another could be that a Copy Flower (those things from M&L:PiT) appears somewhere. You find it as Wario, it makes a copy of him and Piranhacite grabs it and runs, and bam, instant Wariocite.


I also think that when you unlock a character, it should show a small cutscene. For example, I can see Peach going at it with Toadsworth about how she should help Mario find the golden shrooms since she is the Princess, and those mushrooms are important for the mushroom kingdom which it is her job to protect, and since she hasn't been kidnapped, she finaly can. Geno's could be the result of someone making a wish for a hero to help save the day or something.

Maybe for Geno's cutscene, some Toad kid could find him in his doll form lying on the middle of some path, and decides to play with it. Geno then would come alive somehow and go find the Golden 'Shrooms.
