Bitty himself

For my first original game. C+C please. Don't comment on the "lack of color" though, becuase there's a reason for that. Some animations may be removed or improved up. I'll also be posting other character sheets here when I make them.

EDIT: See my sig for some animation tests.

Thanks, it's one of my best custom sheets I've ever done. I made sure to use a ref for walking because I usually totally suck at it. :U

The games environments are going to be very surreal, so i think he'll fit in very well with them. Think Castle Bleck from Super Paper Mario. That should give you a good idea.

I love it! Very Castle Bleck-esque.

You can bet my user number's going to dropping by about 5000 with the move to 3.0. Then I'll become one of those "first few members" no one will remember 3 years from now.

Looks cool but IMO that looks like a SPM tree and Bitty looks like Mimi.

Really? I didn't really notice that at all. I'm trying to keep everything to a "black-and-white square" theme. You'll see a couple splotches of color in stuff like water for some wonderful contrast. The great thing about this game is it will be super-surreal. Yeah, there's an OCEAN in A TOWER! Crazy crap is going to happen. smile.gif

Update:
Stuff you won't see are the improved tree and the bush sprite. They're not much different, so I saw no point. Now, I've been working on my basic enemy for the game (e.g. Mario's goomba).

Could be the round or square one. The square one is my pref. The round one I tried making into a "Bitey Flower", whcih already has a level it could fit into.

EDIT: I'll probably end up cutting the size down 25% so they don't dwarf Bitty. This is more of a sheet for design purposes.

That's a pretty cool, simple style. I'd work on your non-square sprites though, they aren't as smooth as the other ones.

Thanks. The rounder sprites would probably get an extra layer of pixels to the border. This is still just a WIP sheet, so thanks for pointing that out.
