Also guys, should I make it brighter or is this okay. I checked it against Dex's mario and it seemed fine, but I want another opinion too please.

I like it, but it doesn't look Mario enough - too dark palette, too complicated shading style.

And remember to stick to the list guys, making random things will cause a lot of confusion.

The left one is the normal one. The middle one has a brighter palette. And the one on the right is like the first one but minus the darkest shade.

It needs happier, brighter colors, and most importantly, an outline.
And I'd get rid of the dithering, you probably shouldn't be trying to give snow a dithered texture anyway.
