I can probably fix that by modifing the colours a bit so they stand out just a tiny bit more from each other.

The big gray-blue tiles near the bottom are still under construction. I just felt the need to post this with all the updates I've done. Suggestions are welcome, as I'm running out of ideas for deserty tiles. Any suggestions regarding improvements are welcomed as well.

Baww, you flatter me. But actually, that reminds me; I need to go back and redo the forest tiles after I'm done with this set.

As for the rest of you, your suggestions are heard.

As far as palm trees and oases go, I'd have to get that cleared with the creative minds behind the CFP. The level is "ancient ruins/desert", a rather ambiguous title. I don't really know what they are looking for in the set.

But I don't see why they'd exclude an oasis unless for plot-specific reasons, so I might as well get started on that soon. :P Thanks for the suggestion.

I suck at tilesets

Also, this is for the Piranha Gut level. Idk.

Hey Pucifur, if you wanna add or fix anything on this, feel free. Or just tell me what to fix.

Also, for your desert tiles, looking good. Maybe add some of those thin red pipes from SMB3?

Those are really nice; I love how it's coming along. I'm happy you took this set on because I wouldn't know how to sprite the inside of a Piranha. I think it's a great start.

My only suggestion would be to make the yellow goo just a little gooier, perhaps thicker as well.

Thanks. Tbh, I had no clue how to do it. Red insides didn't seem fitting, and yet, when he opens his mouth, his insides do look red. I just went for green for the heck of it. Most of it's just making random things that look cool.

Yeah. It actually wasn't going to be goo, just some random thing to keep it from looking plain, but I guess it does look like goo.

EDIT- Wait, which "goo"? If you mean the stuff over the pit thats working as a bridge, that isn't goo. It's meant to be a fleshy substance with a spiderweb look. I thought you meant on hte platform htat Mario is climbing up to.

Ah, I figured it was a membrane of sorts. I'd make the fleshy bridges a little thicker, so they don't look so brittle.

And now that I look, I do suppose the platform goo could be gooier, but it isn't necessary. It looks fine as-is.

Wahh those are awesome, SGG and Pucifur!

Stuff that Pucifur can add:
What Fez said
Really, we can't have too much on the tilesets. If tiles won't be used in the Desert/Ruins world, they can still be used in the Trial Ruins or in other bonus levels out of context. For the level designers it's always better to have a bigger selection at their disposal.

Really good job you two, again.

That's awesome Pucifur, but I think the tiles with a bit of grass on them are rather odd. It seems a bit too patterned to be moss or grass, you know?
