The Community Fangame Project #2, You make Sound and music? Come in!

CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR MUSIC COMPOSERS!

Most of you probably know that the old CFP failed.
After a lot of topics and the like, it looked like you guys wanted to give it another shot!

Dex and I will officially organize the thing and will stand behind it during the whole thing.
The new CFP will be a simple-to-make platformer with at least four different playable characters, each with different specifications and one special move per character.
The characters are Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi, and of course enemies and gameplay elements from both worlds will be on board. See it as a kind of mix between a classic SMB and WL game.

Demo Release Date: 21st of October, 2008

Hey, don't look at me like that! The last one went on just too sluggish, so here you have a goal to work towards!

Also, I'd like to point out that if this deadline is reached, we will get a board upgrade from the current subboard to the surface of the MFGG main board, directly below the Fangame Discussion!

And if this is only the prize for the Demo, just wait what is possible for actually finishing it!


So if you are an engineer, level designer, spriter, musician or can do another thing to help, just drop by and help us out!

I'll sure help with spriting. But this time we need to set a standard because last time some looked awful and some looked brilliant.

Quality control is active this time. Only good sprites will be considered as finished.

Anything in need of quick voice clips?
Mario saying the title of the game?
Little 2-second-long remarks? Anything?

That's about all I can do.

Good enough. I'll create a sound and music topic at a point. When you see that, you can come and give us your awesome voice samples.
