Oh, Mechabowser, i would like to ask you something.

Like you mentioned (or at least it's very obviously for me to suppose), all games made in MS will use external files like, for exemple, Royale did (for characters and stages bitmaps).

I would like to know if I can restrict those files to just a group of selected, customizable ones.

What I mean is, for example, If I did a game with Character and stage creation/customization, I would make ONLY the stage and character files avaiable externally. That way users wouldn't be able to mess with things like HUDs, single-player stages and musics, for example(which could even ruin online experience).


Oh, It would be cool if it was possible to make a file avaible only for a period of time (say, once you loaded the game for the first time, you can customize your "avatar.png" file, but after you did, the file will disappear and you cannot change it anymore).

All files are saved inside MechaSource and can not be modified by the user.

However, you can set it to load files externally, but that's completely optional. This could be characters, maps etc..
Also you can load the users avatar from the MechaSource Community into your game, but I'll explain it later.

Wonderful, the head shape is a little weird being a perfect circle compared to the well designed body (its not just an oval).

would be cool if the head outline got a bit more detail but ****, cant wait for this if thats the new style.

Still wip. We're gonna make arm and feet animations and stuff for this, aswell as custom taunts.

Anyways The Royale will feature a fully working body system that will allow us to work with alot of custom animations. This allows better communication between players if they can show where to head, what they need, etc., through motions.

You guys will also very likely see another update this weekend.

The developer uses a very friendly version of LUA. We'll make sure you're loaded with tutorials so that you can make anything you desire with it.

How'd I guess it'd be Lua? Anyways, I don't know much lua, except for Miniscule Roblox Lua, but will the Games be actually "Compiled" like C++ Programs or "Interpeted" like Game Maker Programs?

You need MechaSource in order to run the developed games. However, MechaSource will list your game on the download section and keep track of things like achievements and scores for you - all for free.
