But yeah I get the point. So on topic, why haven't ANY of the beta people been posting their experiences? I was expecting that sort of thing from those people and I'm kind of disappointed.

Well closed beta testing means its only open to a certain group of individuals. And open beta is where they just release the beta to the general public.

So maybe those guys get their copies of beta for like a day then it goes public.

I'm not going to directly prevent sharing by acting like a mean watchman. But if someone shares his beta copy and it gets discovered, he'll be banned from any further MechaSource AND MechaWare activities. That is also why I've given each participant a key they can use once. If they ever need to use it more than once they can contact me to get a new one.
The SDK beta doesn't require account creation before use. MechaSource will, the beta won't.

or another way to detect a leak would be to give a slightly different version to each tester and check if multiple people are running a given version
