Every time I start MS up, I get this. I don't think it installs the updates :/

try running "MechaSourceSDK.exe" and "files\apps\Update.exe" in administrator mode

although it does actually update, as i have the example and ability to do normal maps

try running in administrator mode or check if any internet security, firewall or anti-virus is blocking MechaSourceSDK or the Updating file (located in MechaSource\files\apps\Update.exe).

Make it able to change to Advanced mode by changing the interpreter in the game. That is, assuming the games use an interpreter.

impossible because the simplified design will have a completely different setup than the advanced design. Consistency can't be kept without any loss on both sides.
