So will there be an option to code in raw lua? Because from what I read we're pretty much just using simple code that translates into lua.

1. Will there be a pop up box of pre-made Lua commands that we can simply edit and use?

2. How will the level editing work? will it work with mask in such? moving GIF backgrounds?

3. Will there be a HUD template for fighting, Platforming ect?

4. Will there an LVL up system/Template ?

It uses raw lua but we've tried so simplify it as much as possible, ie., splitting it all up and explain what part does what.

Currently, no. But we're in heavy discussion about if this is a useful feature. We'll make sure to report back if we do.

Yes it will work with masks. But the MechaSource engine does not support animated GIFs, you'll have to make alot of GIFs and then code them to loop through.

There will be a SSB-like fighting template, and a platforming template.

That's not hard at all to make, you'll have to make that yourself. Remember that MechaSource can easily transfer variables between server and client, so you'll have no problem with stats.

Well I just thought that if you allowed more coding freedom it would allow greater customization.

But this sounds great, I've been learning a bit of lua through Gmod and WoW and things like that and hopefully this'll encourage me to learn alot more.

I added a popup as ~Smoke~ suggested that has a few of the basic commands in it. I'll try and keep it updated as much as possible, but you shouldn't depend on it.
