That's not a glitch. You can do that in every Mario game.

When you do a minor change (like your shyguy adding), you increase the LAST number ONLY. In this case:
Old version: v0-6-9 -> Your version: v0-6-10.

Well if you want to try I won't hold you. But I can't promise that yours will be used when you screw up. It'd be nice if you attempted it though. It would have to be an edit anyway, so I guess you can do it when you spend some time on it.

Wallkick works now, btw. It just needs some adjustments.
I'll give the file back soon.

Ok, I return the engine.

What's new?
- Mario and Luigi have now their special abilities (they're not yet finished, but the basics are done)
Mario can Wallkick, Luigi can Flutter Jump by keeping the Jump key pressed and Super Jump by ducking until he blinks.

- Coin special effect added.

- HUD Added.

Also the executable in the first post is updated and includes this version now.

No it's not. All Character's specs are saved in property variables and can be increased and decreased at any point. But as long as you're the only one complaining, those are not being changed.

Actually, I agree. The movement does feel a little sluggish. Especially dashing. It just doesn't feel that much faster than walking.

so I guess we should increase the running speed, because it just doesn't feel very Mario-ish how he runs that slowly. I mean, SMB1 had INSANE speeds.

I don't see the problem in walking, but running is indeed way too slow.

Also, you shouldn't be able to uncrouch in midair.
