Runescape is voted the most popular free MMORPG, for the second year in a row.

This is actually one of the main reasons I played it a few years back

Me too, I always thought the quests were pretty cool.
(I don't play anymore.)

Which is also one of the main reasons I don't play WoW, because the quests never were attractive.

It was boring like always.

My least favorite part is definately the tutorial, especially now.
Back when I started playing, they just said 'Click to Move, Click to Attack, Go Play.'

Now it's like, "No, you can't cut down a tree with your sword, no-one told you how!"

I can't even talk to anyone and be internet serious business man yet.

Yeah the new tutorials really suck. Before you could just skip them.

Its a game that sucks when you're a low level and just starting out but gets alot better as time goes on.

And anyways, stop comparing it to more commercial games, its a Java game! And I think it does pretty well for what it is.

Ever since they made trading 'user-friendly' (what with the Grand Exchange), and effectively negated the whole point of the Wilderness, I left.

Isn't this the main point for games like WoW, too? And all those other games?

And as far as most of the comments that speak down on it... Really, I read them as "LOL A LONG TIME AGO A COOL PESON DID NIT LIEK RUNESCAPEZ, SO NOW I M GUNNUH BE KEWL AND NOT LIKE IT AND SAY ALL THE BAD THINGZ THEY DOD."

I agree when I say that taking out the wilderness' old use was a bit of a nerf and draw back.

I still like it **** you guys.

I thought it was good a while back. If they changed the movements to something else but click and move I would probably reconsider playing it again.

I would only play Runescape Private Servers :|

It is pointless if you don't know all that programming hoo-ha.

Besides, then you take away all the effort from the game. =/
All you do is type some crap in and you are invincible?
You might as well just go get Halo or MGS4 and take out all the gameplay, leaving only cinematic scenes. =/

no, wow actually has something to do at level cap. (raiding, competitive pvp, and battleground pvp)

I have personally played it (Because my friend gave me a level 85ish account) but I still found it fairly boring.

eh, it's not fun if you start out with a level million character. That goes for WoW aswell. The fun is to upgrade your character and make choices for him. Watch him pimp his first boss and then go fourth like that. Nothing is fun if given with ease.

I used to play runescape. Eventually I got bored of it. They really messed up the game when they took out the pking (player-killing) in the wild and when they made the trading system more 'scam proof'
