M&L **UPDATE02!*, I always Loved it, now I want to sprite

it. Sometimes, i see these sheets ful lof M&L poses, and Like i feel like using that sheet to make a Game, but howver, not all sheets have 100+ poses for me to make a full dynamic game from, but at the same time i can't edit them. So I think it is about time I stop making goomba and wart edits and make some scratch customs. For now I only have:
-1 Character
-1 Pose

I know it seems like nothing but I need some feedback as to what my flaws are:

I personally cannot sprite the legs:

Credit to AJ Notiro because I used his mario in towel sprite for this one, but it is a major edit than some simple recolor.

It would have been better to have used luigi as a base, but i went ahead and did mario from his capless sprites (credit:flaminghedgehog)

Make him a little rounder, and a little wider. And the feet are pretty bad.

Just fix them up and it will be good.(And to fix up the feet, make them larger)

Your main flaw seems to be trying to attach the arms and legs. Think of the body as a full circle. Nothing special. Now, add the arms OUTSIDE the circle. Create pretty big sized feet. I'd should an example but It's a bit late right now.

I'm working on Pit next, and then when I'm done getting al lof my comments, I'm going to go back and revise them.

because if you actually read my post it clearly stated I don't know how to do the legs.

They aren't even legs. They're feet. It's a significant different. If you don't know how, try new strategies. Don't make excuses for flaws unless they're valid. Keep practicing and you'll eventually get it.

legs i meant feet litterally I cannot do those no matter how hard I try it took me like fifteen trys to attempt to get the legs right....they still suck.

I'm not too familiar with M&L sprites, but I tried.

Torkirby's example is what you want to try and aim for. See how the feet are big?

These are pretty good, but they are too blocky.

KK Feet need practice what do you guys think of PIT?

Each day there will be a new character I sprite for one week (I'll take suggestions) and once I'm done with this wave I'll edit what I am told to do, and then see if I can go to another wave.

The wings need work. With angel wings, you want them to appear fluffy and white. Yours is kinda sharp and dark, like a fierce bird or a bat.
My basic advice: Don't try to show off every feather, give off the illusion that there ARE a bunch of feathers.

The Pit sprite is really awesome. Nice job!

Waddle Dee needs to be much rounder.

Also you made the big mistake. THE big mistake. You used black inside of the outline.

uhhh where? the arms or wut?

I'd assume two things:

1) The anti-aliasing outline
2) The black eyes.

the black eyes, isn't that natural I aint painting them yellow.
