I decided to post a demo of Terra Crashers 3 without the permission of my currently abscent friend and colaborator.
With demo I mean 'limited number of characters and levels, trying to create a hype for the final release'-demo.
So far I have 13 levels, a crap load of characters, 4 challenges, 4 shops and a secret boss.
This demo contains 3 playable levels, 6 unlocked characters and 3 locked characters, 1 challenge and 1 shop (containing one of the locked characters). That's why I'm cheap :P
But that's not all! I have a few spaces in the character select screen open and I'm out of suitable playable characters to slap in. If you want one of your characters in, fill in the following form:
Name:
Ref:
Element: (Fire, Wood, Electric, Water, Plain, Ice)
Charge Attack:
Special Attack:
Discription: (Shown when you hit the right mouse button over a character in the character select screen)
Make sure you have played at least 1 level before you fill this in, otherwise you might end up typing gibberish (though the name, ref and discription are clear enough without playing the game)
What is Terra Crashers 3? It's a sequel to the side scrolling shooter (which is unfinished. Iris still hasn't done his part) Terra Crashers 2 and the concluding part of the Terra Crashers trilogy.
Terra Crashers 3 introduces Charge Attacks for the first time. They differ among characters. You hold and release the button when fully charged to execute. And Special Attacks are still there in Terra Crashers 3. Pressing K triggers a Special Attack, which drains EP. When you lack EP, a Special Attack can't be executed (I guess that's obvious.
The Team Crashers games are side scrolling shooters, kinda like Gradius, but with humans, humanoids, robots and other creatures. Avoid hitting walls, shoot enemies for Meteo Shards (the currency in TC3) and beat the boss at the end of each level!
For those who are familiar with the Megaman BN series probably know how the element system works.
Fire>Wood>Electric>Water>Fire
In an advantage, attacks do 150% damage. Plain doesn't suffer from disadvantages, but doesn't benefit from advantages either; ideal for multi element attacks. But what does Ice do? Well... nothing special.
Fire>Ice>Wood
You can say the body element is equal to that of Wood and the attack element equal to Fire. So that means:
Ice>Ice! Crazy, I know, but quite frankly I was and still am too lazy >.>
