The NCFC Booth Thread, Goals: Graphics for Kremling (1st post)

GRAPHICS PEOPLE: KREMLING NEEDS:
- A logo of the Game
- A "?-Block"



For those who missed out on this important fact:
We will release a playable demo of this game for the NCFC. (21 October 2008)

Are you a webdesigner and/or have webspace?
Do you want to help us?

Excellent.

First of all we need to get webspace.
If you have webspace to offer and are willing to host it for us, that's pretty good.
If we don't find webspace, we'll just take the offer of the NCFC staff who offer webspace themselves.


What we want to show on the site:
As we've got the rough concept of gameplay already, I think we should know what we want to show on NCFC.
- We want to show the features of this game.
- We want to offer a downloadable demo. (Note: not a tech demo, but actual in-game footage!)
- We want probably a video or something.
- We might need a screenshot gallery
- A page that shows everyone who is working on the project would also be nice.

Not so important, but also nice would be to have a site which presents characters' stats to show the differences between the four characters.


Graphics wise, I leave it to the guy(s) who design the site, what they want to do. Of course, it has to FIT with the game itself.
If the booth designer(s) need graphics from the spriters, they are supposed to request in this topic.


I hope there's someone willing to do this.

I could do this for you, I'll draw a design, and post it here. If you like the design, then I can program it, and if you don't, then I will draw a new one and so on... []

I just got a premium byethost account (4GB space and 250GB bandy) if you wanna use it... It's got php, mysql, ftp, and loads of stuff... If you want to put the website there.

Just get your own domain cause cfp2.zeldaonline.info looks a little cheap...

Also, an important note for kremling:
The site should be hidden somewhat. Make a first page that is like a teaser site, so people won't be able to access the real thing until NCFC.

I know its small now, but it will grow larger as we add more features.

I guess it's alright. At least you're working on it.

Keep in mind that we have to register the booth by the end of this month if I'm not mistaken, so by then you should at least have the model (without the content) done.
If you need any kinds of ressources, please post here and list them.

By October 1st, yes, it needs to be registered, otherwise it's not getting in.

Almost done with the website, it actually looks pretty good.
