Anyways it's good but I really don't fancy round shaped Goombas that much

Very true.
But yes, Goombobs are sometimes refered to as "prehistoric goombas" answering why they are on Yoshi's Island, but Goombobs may just be goombas with more mass, the reason why they cant be squashed.

EDIT: Walking animation finished, putting up soon.
EDIT AGAIN: So is flipped animation
