The head looks a little flat and the sprite lacks shading but it looks good. Nice work.

Okay... that isn't bad at all for a begginer. And at least he is one of the few sprites in this compy that didn't... 'neglect' to look chubby. His mushroom head wants to look rounder at the top. Also, his head is out of proportion on his shoulders, so make his body wider so it's in the center of where his neck is. The arms are out of proportion and are a bit small too. Move them up by a pixel and fold them into his shirt. As for his feet, they are not bad, but toad is missing some legs, so his body looks strange. Oh, and shade it too. ^_^ If you have trouble with shading get some original Toad sprites and zoom, and study the shading on those. It helps for a begginer usually.
