Really awesome, dude.

The only thing I feel I should comment on is that in my opinion his feet look a bit small - even close to square (by this I mean square like as broad as they're long, not square as in having square corners in the sprite). Not necessarily a problem, as it may be more stylistic than anything (part of retaining a portion of the original sprites' look or feel, perhaps?), but I just thought I'd mention it since it's something that stuck out at me when I saw the animation.

As for the pose you requested: skidding, perhaps?

(By this, of course, I mean when Mario's running one way and skids to a stop to run the other way.)

Personally, I think that with your first Project Everything Mario you did a fine job of making the legs stubby-looking like they should have been, and yet the feet didn't appear small.

Again, not meaning to put too fine a point on the foot thing; just saying.
