Sprite Comp #143: WRECKING CREW

WRECKING CREW?!

Wrecking Crew. You know, that game that came out where you're in a crew and you wreck. Wrecking Crew. Wrecking Crew.

Now, Wrecking Crew has never really recieved a "true" sequel. Wrecking Crew '98 was okay, but it was more of a strange Tetris clone thing than a proper sequel, and it never got outside of Japan. In fact I don't think it even made it onto a cartridge.

Your job is to give Wrecking Crew a coat of paint. Spice it up for the modern age. Does Mario still walk around with his hammer destroying walls? Is he now bound to breaking apart Bowser's Castle bit-by-bit? Has he been promoted and has people working for him? Is the sequel a blend between WC and WC98? Theme's pretty broad, should be able to come up with something.

Voting's in a week. That'll be the 8th. Also thanks to Black Boo who came second in the last comp, and all the other participants. Hurray for tileset comps.

Now GO.

I'm kinda confused by the way you put it. Is this mere sprites, or can we do mockups as well?

Thats the thing I suck at making form my idea was to edit a M&L (very original) Mario sheet to make forman spike.

Thats why I made the color effect the emotion of the riceball! Red is happy, blue is sad, and grey is... Normal.
