On the subject of preconceived ideas:

I love the upper-class gay psuedo-greek stereotype but hate the "internet" gay 12 year old who has never had a sexual experience of any kind yet preaches and preaches.

I can't take religious fundamentalists seriously in any sense of the word. Just today I laughed at a kid who had "Manchester; made in heaven" on his t-shirt. (Though that kind of thing is rare in Britain anyway)

When I say I'm "patriotic" it means "slightly xenophobic and hold contempt for certain country's population".



I engage in and approve others into committing what I call "Passive Anarchy" in which you break social norms or make someone question their perceptions of "social regularity" without causing any distress.

Only half the people I know know that I smoke at all.

I think thin girls are ugly and I generally despise the generic ideal of "attractive".

I consciously appreciate genetics.

I hate Latin names of microbes. I hate writing in italics. I hate my own handwriting.

I don't like being tall most of the time but say I do.

I do like having long hair most of the time but say I don't.

I also hate how people think polar bears walk around Finland.

It can be over 25^oC (77^oF) in Helsinki! No polar bears can live there.

I've never heard anyone say that Polar bears live in Finland.
And the heat record here is only about 37^oC if I remember correctly.

Some German friends of my grandparents came for a visit several years ago and they were warned that "Don't go to Finland - it's all freezing and polar bears are walking on the streets!"

I don't really like people.
