Anatomy Practice, Basic Anime Anatomy.

Okay, so I decided to work on anatomy a tiny bit.
It's a woman, and she's about 5 heads tall, due to her still having a slightly big head. But hey! It's an improvement from 2.5-3.5 heads!

Anyways, I actually used a skeleton to create it and I like how it came out.

I also feel that I'm getting better at creating hands and feet.

There's some strange parts I could work on, but I feel this is good enough, at my first true attempt at anatomy.



Sorry if the image is at a strange angle, but please don't bug me about that. If I'm doing sketches, I'll typically leave them untouched until I decide to color them.

The head is really nice.

The waist should be bigger though.
And I assume it's a female since she has what appears to be breasts? If so, her hips should be bigger; almost the size of her shoulders.

Very nice so far, but perhaps you should reduce the head a little bit

Everything needs work. Pretty much every proportion is off.

Theres this magical thing called the golden section t hat I'm learning. Try using it.

That 1-1.618 or w/e formula? That doesn't really help me. Your methods aren't the same as mine by the way. You can use your golden ratio method, and I can just use circles and squares.

True, it's a bit skinny, considering I was trying to make her too fat. Anyways, thanks for the input. Next time, I should probably scan one with the shapes and lines I used, and then another with the shapes erased. That'll probably provide me with better input.
