Loved your Snake, but this one doesn't look too great :V
The nose is too big and the shapes are generally off

I think I answered that question in the Help forums, but I might as well post it again.
I don't have a palette. I use the colors from ripped sprites. Colors I can't find, there are no shades of purple for example, I use custom colors that fits.

Ahw... Do I have to? ...Meh, I'll give Black Mage a go when I finish the Mario-related SMK sheet I'm working on.

You're doing a good job, but I've only made 1 sheet in they style so I don't know much about it, but these look like they could fit in with a SMK styled game or something.

If your sprites were to be used in a hack, you'd need to do it with only 1 horizontal row of colors. There are, however, 4 more palletes, but those (What I think at least) are for things like Lakitu's, Cheep Cheeps, etc.
