Part of my Spore story, a fraction

The Trobata Pincership was cruising around space, after getting attacked by an unknown spaceship. The ship suddenly flew into an unknown solar system. The Trobata inside the ship activated the database.

"Solar system analysis: Sol system. Further research has revealed that activity has been seldom seen here. A large star known by passersby as "Sol" has several planets around it.

Mars
Venus
Mercury
Earth
Uranus
Neptune
Jupiter
Saturn
Pluto

Analysis shows that all nine of these planets are devoid of life. Report end."

The pincership flew over to Mars and looked around at the landscape. "Planet seems to have red terrain, and is devoid of water. Should we terraform?" asked the ship's computer. "Yes, we should do so. Activate the canyon ray, and fill the canyons with water. This will make a great Troba Batos II, and will increase the amount of total Trobata in the universe."

The ship blew large canyons on the planet and filled them with water. An atmosphere formed. "Look! The planet is becoming habitable! We should explore another planet before we add plants and animals, however." said the Trobata, who flew the ship to Earth. The ship scanned for sentient life.

"Analysis complete. No signs of life detected, except for flora. Yet we are detecting several moving dots which symbolize sentient life."

"...How can this be? There's no animal life on this planet, but there's moving icons! Let's investigate!" said the Trobata.

The ship lowered down to Earth and found a colony in a glass dome. Upon closer inspection, the technology was the same as on Troba Batos. There was a colony of Trobata on the planet.
