After playing Mario Super Sluggers I was thinking about how cool it'd be to see my Stanley redesign in these spin off games. Then the idea of seeing baby Stanley and what he'd look like came to me. Most noticeable thing is he's still in overalls like his cousins. I first thought of him being in a t-shirt and shorts since I don't think he'd get the exterminator uniform I came up with until he actually gets a job as one but then the idea of him being in the overalls as a baby came to mind. It kinda keeps a homage to his original Donkey Kong 3 design.
Another thing I feel like pointing out is how this baby design has legs and smaller feet unlike how I draw my original character Franklin. I wanted to match the Mario game baby style by doing that. |
