It looked like he still had a frowning mouth though.

I have to agree, the bodys go so high up it makes it look like they are all frowning.

Maybe you should make them bigger so you could see the expressions better? Really, I only see color differences.

Meh, Thought I should give this topic some activity. :\

Normal ones go normaly in a straight line, happy ones swim up and down happily, angry ones are very fast, in a straight line. The sad ones move slowly in a straight line, and calm ones just float along with a stream unless woken up, then they turn into an angry one.

Sweet. Mine are just about finished.

Your peoples sprites need to show more emotion. Like happy things skip, sad things have puppy eyes, etc.

Who here is pierced by my sad Goomba's puppy eyes?

That is an amazing entry, Black Boo! The style strongly reminds me of Paper Mario.

You could make the eyebrows thicker.

Not done yet, but this is all I can do tonight.




EDIT: To clarify, the one on the upper left is the "regular" form. The others, of course, are the "sad" and "mad" vibes.

By the way, important question:

Is this going to end on the 20th at the same time of day as the first post was made (4:58 PM in my timezone)? That would make sense, since it would be exactly a week long. I think that's the way it's usually done, but I want to make sure, so that hopefully I can count on having some time on Saturday to add more stuff to my sheet.
