I might make this into a Sprite Comp entry by adding vibe variations and other poses.

There are definitely things that could use improvement about this, it seems to me; could be that something about the highlights on the sprite is not right. Can't quite put my finger on it, though. Therefore, I request C+C.

He seems to be leaning too far to the right. Fix that. Other than tat I see no flaws..

@Everyone else viewing this topic: Please give me more comments! I'm sure there are plenty more things to improve about this, and I would like to have a decent-sized sheet to enter in the Sprite Comp. I'd like to get the basic design right first, though.

Sorry for double-posting, but IYO, is the highlighting on the updated one on the right better than before, or not? (The one on the left is the same as the one in the OP.

The right looks better.

You have some odd shading going on. Mind if I make a small edit?

Sorry, but that would probably make it hard/impossible for me to make a comp entry out of it, since a comp entry has to be my own work.

You are free to make suggestions, however.

The light source should be just above the tip of his nose. Excellent sprite otherwise.

Maybe you misunderstood my point of the edit.

I would only be making it to SHOW you the things that need to be worked on/fixed, not saying you had to use it yourself.

I know, but if I saw what you had done to it, chances are I would sort of automatically do something very similar since it would be pointed out to me as a good way to do it. Therefore it would still contain elements of your work even if it wasn't directly copied.
