I was expecting a story about MFGG and a short sentence

Needless to say I was disappointed

I see what you mean, Tony, but it's one of those things that'll stick around the internets, much like Rick Roll. There's not really much point in campaigning against it, although you do have a fairly valid point.

I've just never seen any kind of discussion on this thing that is so prevelant on these forums. I thought it would be an interesting discussion and I was right!

Once upon a domain name there was a quaint little forum called MFGG. There were few members and it was good. Then flames and seppeku and stuff happened but we're going to skip over that in this story.

Anyways, later on there were a few members who were a little overly sarcastic. They overused short sentences and one member, Tony Trombone, slowly skipped into insanity because of this sarcasm.

But MFGG would be saved from this threat, because up from obscurity rose the custom word filter! Yes, ol' Custy, here to filter 'yes' and 'sure' into "Yes sir, you are indeed correct in your assumption!" and the like. And so that kinda died down even though no-one would've cared in a day or two anyways.

And then some guy posted porn and people went to rage over that.

Its just easier to make simple and short posts because its quicker to type out.

Either I don't understand the point you're trying to make, or it's just so irrelevant to me it doesn't even matter!

Don't bother explaining, prolly won't help me at all.
