Sprite Competition #145: Buzzy Beetles, TOP 5 VOTING HAS BEGUN

I redid my sheet, doing more tomarrow.

Here's my own sheet, based on the Buzzy Beetle in my sig (albeit with arms now)



Might add more later today or tomorrow...

(P.S. the blue palette extension on the last alternate palette implies he does a ligthning attack rather than fire)

Also, I did not make the ? block, nor were the rotations intended to be great, since they were not the focus of the sheet.

EDIT: Final version, several new poses, corrections to alt. palettes and spiky version.

Might as well right?
I know it sucks but I made it 100% custom and I like it.

it's kinda too squared

1.) Do you honestly think that my sprites have a 3D look?!
2.) To answer your question: Yes, it was "necessary" (I just wanted it to be shiny)
3.) I haven't had too much time to work on these.

Ah, I haven't had time to do anything with mine, take out my entry.

Just for clarification, since it says on my laptop in CDST that this was posted at 12:34pm, am I right in assuming voting begins today at 1:30 Eastern Time?

I'm going to start the Top 5 in about 22 minutes. Hurry and submit entries/updates if you still have to.

Just so you know, a couple of entries don't have animations, so they shouldn't be included.

Top 5 voting now starts.

I decided to just forget about the animation requirement thing, since some entries were possibly borderline and I'd rather avoid potential complaining.

I'm still not really sure it's correct to include an entry as incomplete as Soiyeruda's, but I figured I would since it appears to be a complete shell pose of a Buzzy Beetle, and there are other single-frame entries accepted. Unfortunately, however, I can't count OmegaK's WIP, since it wasn't even finished being drawn.
