Sonic Google Logo

[Thunder]

For my computer illustrations class we were assigned to make our own custom Google logo based on something that happened on our birthday, or based on stuff we liked. Me, playing the role of Sonic***, decided that it'd be a good idea to make a Sonic Google logo, since Sonic rolls up in a ball like the "O" in Google, and I could make the second "O" a ring. So, here's the final product:



I made it in an Adobe Illustrator and print screened it to put it in paint. It's pretty much done, I'll probably add spikes or something else on the grass or something. It's based on classic Sonic, as you can tell from the not so green-eyed Sonic and checkered grass. So, I'd like to hear what you think.

That's pretty clever. The second O doesn't immediately look like a ring, though. I first though, "Why is there a chip out of the O...Oh, it's a ring!" Maybe if you change the shiny-ness it would a little more ring like. Sonic looks cool, though.

Yeah, I think I might just fill the white part of the ring with a different shade of yellow.

I'd rip a sonic image from the original. Likewise for the grass, and add the oldskool background to it aswell, along with scores and lives. That's if, you're allowed to do that for your assignment.

We have to make our own work, and I pretty much based all of the sprites off of Sonic 2 sprites and tiles anyway.
