Alright, since one of the problems we had was people not getting their vehicles ready in time, when we start the mario kartan I'll be sure to prepare identical karts so you guys can copy them and all you have to do is add 2 thrusters (one for propulsion, one for steering). We'll tell the difference between the karts by giving them different colors like in MK64. Map will probably be the TF2 Mario_Kart one, with all the vehicles in it (aka catbus, metal slug) removed. Obstacles will be added. Either that or I could make something simple in Hammer for us. I'll try to get 3 Mario Kart songs to micspam, so suggest some.

And if we're going to add heavies to them, we should get the tool that makes things weightless, so the karts don't mess up.

tl;dr:
-all karts will be the same, save for color
-if we decide to weld a Heavy to sit on it, we'll be controlling them via remote (so weld a camera to your kart if we do this)
-Map will either be mario_kart or something I'll make in Hammer
-I'll be micspamman, suggest Mario Kart music

Also, you have adv. dupe right? If so, I guess I'll start building whatever tomorrow and dupe it to the server.
Then again, welds and no-collides mess up with adv. dupe.

THIS WAS A TRIUMPH

Well, sort of. I had to make the kart hover on hoverballs (set to invisible here) because the wheels totally suck on propelling and supporting it. I put a thruster on the back for forward/backwards and another on a wheel (invisible) for right/left. I'm experimenting with speed at the moment because I spin out if I go too fast. This will be everyone's kart, but you can pick whatever color you'd like. mario_kart already has music controlled by stations in the disco room observatory and if the participation in the tank battle taught us anything, I doubt all of us will be racing. So whoever decides to spec can just chill out there and pick music/observe the race. Also Kamin if you don't wanna race and just record, you can weld a camera in mid-air to some of the karts like I did here to get cool points of view.

okay im really sorry about that guys, my air conditioning is ****ed up so my comp's overheating too much (hence all the server crashes). will have it fixed by next time, hopefully this won't happen again.

We have a breakable tool now, so I'm totally up for either. Though when you say "boat battles", do you mean 2 big ships with teams or individual boats fighting? Either way, I'm suggesting we use some malawar tools and the weight tool.
